BARTON PERREIRA

Launched in 2007 by visionaries Bill Barton and Patty Perreira, Barton Perreira is an independent fashion eyewear brand dedicated to innovation and redefining the industry through unparalleled design, impeccable craftsmanship, and a personal approach to customer relationships. Each frame is handmade in Japan by artisans highly trained and skilled in constructing beautiful, meticulously assembled eyewear. The rigorous manufacturing process focuses on perfecting every detail, from the frame’s foundation to its deep glossy finish.
Barton Perreira’s lenses provide 100% protection using the finest CR-39 optical-grade plastic and mineral glass
available. The brand has expanded domestically and internationally. Barton Perreira is now available in 47 U.S.
states, 56 countries including Germany, France, Japan and Italy as well as having four brick and mortar shops in New York, Aspen, Nashville and Kansas City.

Collection
Barton Perreira releases the Autumn/Winter 2018 collection, consisting of 25 sunglasses and optical frames in a variety of colorways in women’s, men’s and unisex styles. Staying true to the Barton Perreira brand, the collection is a sophisticated, diverse capsule of eyewear that illustrates the brand’s ability to consistently design without compromising.
The women’s metal sun collection fulfills fantasies of travel to tropical destinations with its airy, lightweight titanium combined with sea and sky colored tints. Designer Patty Perreira sets a landscape on the Polynesian islands with names like Hani, which translates to coy and flirtatious in Hawaiian. Akua, meaning Hawaiian Goddess, innovatively introduces the new concept of a “floating” lens.
Perreira continues her new collection reimagining existing categories, many of which are intentionally curated to come in both sun and optical.

Subtle complexity, such as intricate filigree in the retro Doyen style and signature metal grill detail embellishments found in the Lenox, are a nod to styles from the past. Aerial, perfection in its scale and curves, is a balanced, simple aviator, while Aeronaut, with its oversized enamel lacquered finish, adds edge to the classic style. Innovation is showcased in the new Ogden, a super-thin sculpted acetate insert combined with a full metal rim that can only be perfectly executed by the brand’s Japanese artisans.
In a world of shocking eyewear street trends and throwaway fashion, Perreira has an innate ability to design classic eyewear that transcends trends and proves flattering across a range of face shapes. Every style is meticulously designed with the highest technical standards and is crafted with the finest quality materials to create a frame that will last a lifetime.
