A human landscape crossed by silence. The Eastern setting does not represent a specific place, but becomes a universal space, dense with presences and, at the same time, devoid of encounters.
Artificial poetry is the map of this daily anesthetic: the narrative of a normalcy where isolation no longer makes any noise.
The figures share the same environment without ever recognizing one another, each individual seems suspended in an autonomous dimension, as if inhabiting a parallel reality. Physical proximity does not generate connection: only coexistence exists. The series reflects a deeply contemporary condition, where permanent connectivity coexists with a growing inability to communicate. The photographs narrate this tension. They do not seek drama, but rather the normalcy of isolation.
Each image is a seemingly ordinary scene, where the absence of communication becomes the true subject.
Poetry, on the other hand, survives as a fragile possibility: it is what remains between two people before the silence becomes definitive.
